READ ME!! It might help.

Get over heartbreak and change your life: https://www.BreakupHacks.com/

This video has taken off in a way I didn’t anticipate. I’m immensely touched by the ability to help so many people through one of the more difficult things in life that we all experience. So many of you have written me and I wish there was a way for me to get back to everyone, but unfortunately that’s not realistic at this time. I wanted to link a few things that I think might help you even more. Sending you all lots of love and strength. xo
— After coaching hundreds of people through breakups, I created a course you can enroll in here: https://www.breakuphacks.com

0:50 Housekeeping notes: this advice is for everyone, can work for different types of relationships, advice is given under the assumption that the relationship is over and why this will make you a sexy mofo. Seriously.

3:50 Technical stuff first
4:27 Changing your text tones, ringtones, their name in your phone, no communication

They’re there in the daylight, even though you don’t see them or need them, but they glow in the darkness to give you light and help you find your way home.”
18:45 Make a detailed and accessible list of everything you DISLIKE about that person
20:56 Be around other people, learn to connect with everyone. Don’t wait for magic, BE magical.
24:57 Create a visual calendar of your progress
26:53 Don’t focus on forgetting, train your brain to receive and let go (learn more: neuroplasticity)

How To Get Over A Breakup (Tips For Moving On Quickly)

stop a break up No Comments »

http://www.BreakupBrad.com/ — How To Get Over A Breakup (Tips For Moving On Quickly And Minimizing Heartache)

To begin with, I need to give you a bit of unfortunate news… and that’s that all breakups, regardless of the circumstances, are painful to some degree. There’s really no magic solution or quick fix that will make your heartache disappear overnight. There are, however, a few things you can do to help suppress the post-breakup emotions and help you get over your ex as quickly as possible.
The first step is to accept the reality of your situation.

Don’t be afraid to do a bit of crying or spend some time alone in the first day after your breakup, especially if it helps you accept the reality of what’s happened. But do your very best to avoid having these emotional breakdowns while your ex is present.

In fact, during these early stages, it’s not a good idea to speak to your ex at all. In particular, avoid begging, pleading, or apologizing to your ex in an attempt to reverse their decision or in hopes of finding closure.

By the way, if you’re not ready to let go and you’re hoping to get back together with your ex, then now is a good time to tell you about my free quiz tool…. I’ve created a quiz on my website that will help you figure out whether or not your ex will take you back and what your odds of success are. It takes about 5 minutes to complete, and you can try it out for yourself at http://www.BreakupBrad.com/Quiz.

Now, moving on… once you’ve come to grips with the reality of your situation, it’s time to remove all visible reminders of your ex. There’s nothing worse than being reminded of a painful memory every time you walk into your bedroom… which is why one of the most important ways to move on is to remove visible reminders around your house.

If you’re really struggling with self-control and can’t seem to stop yourself from texting or calling your ex, I also recommend writing down your ex’s number on a piece of paper and giving it to a friend, and then deleting it from your phone completely. You don’t need to contact your ex right now, and deleting their info from your contacts list is a good way to make sure you don’t do something dumb.

You should also lean on your friends and family. Try to avoid being alone whenever possible — go out with friends or spend time with family, even if it’s the last thing you feel like doing. Trust me when I say that being social is one of the single most effective ways of getting through a breakup.

It’s also important during all of this that you continue to maintain healthy habits. Scientists have proven that vigorous exercise produces ‘feel good’ chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine in your brain. That means that an intense 30-60 minute workout 3-4 times a week can help you avoid depression and feel better about life in general. It’s also important to maintain healthy eating habits and generally take care of yourself so that you don’t add any extra stresses on your body or mind.

All of those things will help speed up the process and minimize your heartache, but I should also mention that the single best way to recover from a breakup is to find someone new.

Finally, if you find yourself struggling with depression and heartache even after you’ve done all the things I’ve talked about in this video, try to remember that every day that passes is another step towards a full recovery. You may not feel any better today than you did a week ago, but I can promise that in a month or two you’ll look back and realize that each day you spent a bit less time thinking about your ex. Sooner than later, you’ll be back to normal and completely over your ex.

How to overcome your breakup and why it’s so painful

stop a break up No Comments »

Want to listen to a mind exercise introduction right now? Here’s one of my favorites: https://themindmasterchallenge.leadpages.co/a-mind-exercise-to-deep-connection-with-silence/

You can also learn more about the impact of meditation and mind exercise on your brain in this impromptu interview I did with A Better Me Magazine: https://themindmasterchallenge.leadpages.co/exclusive-backstage-interview-with-dr-sean/

I’m Dr. Sean, a San Francisco-based a psychologist who teaches the online science-based steps to consistently feeling and performing your best so you can be your purpose.

The fun, easy to follow animated mind exercise steps are at http://www.beyourpurpose.com

When you master your inner dialogue you can strategically get over your break up much faster. It took me a long time to realize that after my worst break up.

Do you know how to listen to your inner dialogue? I’ll show you the exact science-based steps to listening to exactly what you are saying to yourself.

Don’t stew in pain longer than you need to. Figure out the steps to healing and start taking them. The sooner you do the sooner you’ll be felling better. Don’t remain in turmoil any longer than you need to. Once you can see your inner dialogue you can decide what you truly want for the next step in your life. It won;’t happen overnight but I’ll teach you the steps to listening properly.

Proper meditation – what I call mind exercise – sharpens your attention, strengthens your memory and measurably improves other mental abilities. Mind exercise also teaches you to hear the inner dialogue that is occurring inside your brain.

When you can hear your inner voice clearly, you become much more effective when making changes that you want to make to achieve your personal goals and discover and live out your life purpose. That’s why Be Your Purpose teaches you how to meditate and mind exercise right from the first step you take in your inner life training.

You can try 30 days of free mind exercise at http://www.BeYourPurpose.com anytime.

Why mind exercise? Imagine knowing your own psychology well enough to know exactly how and when you feel and perform at your best. And imagine having the ability to conjure a state of being on demand—infusing yourself with meaning, direction, joy, and empathy whenever you choose—to know the next best step to take in your life. What kind of change would that mean for you?

Now stop imagining, and join me on a journey where you actually find your life purpose, connect to it at will, and live it out. There are no bounds to what that can mean. As a performance psychologist, I work with Olympic athletes to win gold. I work with couples to recapture harmony and joy. I work with artists and actors to access vast creativity. I work with business leaders to “make it rain.” And I work with people feeling sad, anxious, frustrated, heartbroken, or numb to feel fulfilled.

Regardless of the goal, our journey to mastery always begins with Be Your Purpose. Now, with direct delivery to your inbox you can complete the steps from wherever you are. Master the same world-class psychology and brain science process that teaches you how to connect to your unique life purpose and chart a strategic, scientifically based path to your personal goals—whatever they may be, whatever you want to be.

Let’s begin this new adventure together. Try it free for 30 days at http://www.BeYourPurpose.com.

How to Stop Depression After a Breakup: Prevent 'The X Program'

Over time, relationship stress can damage emotion circuits in the brain. This can be a problem and lead to depression as evidenced from a study by Harvard neuroscientist Richard Davidson. He found that the emotion regulation circuits get compromised and prevent a person from being able to be bounce back. It becomes increasingly difficult to be resilient after a lot of stress because the circuits in your brain that allow you to bounce back, get compromised. Find out how this ‘x program’ gets formed and the one step you can do to stop depression after a breakup.
